Volunteering is one of the most rewarding ways to give and only requires a small amount of your time. This is the best way for you to gain direct insight into what goes on at your local shelter.
Although the facility is small, you will find that it is run efficiently, with the animals’ welfare taking first priority. There is no better way to spend volunteered time than with unconditional love and friendship.
The hardest part is deciding who gets to go for a walk first! Listed below are some other ways you can volunteer your time .
- Child-puppy interaction, with adult supervision.
- Walking a dog or two…or petting a kitty.
- Washing dishes.
- Cleaning animal areas.
- Animal transport.
- Fundraiser activities and planning.
The staff is always available for guidance or information. We’ll do our best to insure that your experience is positive.
